It has dual displays and controls for easy accessibility and operation, very large backlit LCD characters for easy reading, and a host of features and parameters normally found on many higher-priced instruments. Fast investment payback is the goal of the DET-2.

Easy-to-Read Dual-Sided Display
The DET-2 has a large liquid crystal display on both sides of the instrument with big, easy-to-read characters. A built-in reticle illuminator and LCD backlighting can be turned on if needed in low light conditions with a single press of a button.

A 2” accuracy specification along with vertical axis compensation ensures the DET-2 will be accurate enough for your most demanding job requirements. High-quality optics and a 30x magnification telescope with a short minimum focus distance provide a clear, sharp viewing at both long and very short distances.

With 2-second accuracy, 1-second or 5-second selectable display readings, and vertical axis compensation, it handles any construction job efficiently. Operating costs are kept low with the included rechargeable battery pack and charger. A backup alkaline pack holding four standard AA batteries is included to eliminate downtime if additional power is needed. The DET-2 has a built-in reticule illuminator for working in low light environments, such as inside buildings or near dawn or dusk. Each DET-2 comes equipped with a plumb bob, NiMH rechargeable battery pack and charger, alkaline battery pack, adjustment tools, rain hood, multi-language user guide, and hard-shell carrying case. This tool is ideal for establishing 90-degree reference lines, column placement, alignment of forms, tilt-up walls, curtain walls, gravity flow pipe laser setup, basic grade work, and short-range leveling.
