TeraFlex JL: Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Mount Carrier Kit & Adjustable Spare Tire Mount
Designed to accommodate up to a 40” tire, the TeraFlex JL: Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier and Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount will secure your full-size spare tire over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain. It also provides easy access to the rear cargo area in one smooth action.
Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier: Using the factory tailgate hinge mounting points spreads the load of the spare tire over a larger area for maximum strength and durability. Internal gussets and bracing in the stock JL body supports the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier and oversized tire, which eliminates all stress from the tailgate.
Compared to the JK piece, the new JL Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier spans nearly the width of the tailgate for better weight distribution. Additionally, the updated design features a one-piece, forged steel hinge that ties the top and bottom factory hinge locations together as well as additional vertical braces for increased strength.
The Hinged Spare Tire Carrier also provides additional mounting points for off-road accessories like a recovery jack or fluid containers. The adjustable Tire Carrier is constructed from strong, lightweight 6061-T6 extruded aluminum.
Although the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount can be used alone, it has been designed to be installed in conjunction with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier.
The Tire Mount can support the additional weight of a full-size spare tire by securely mounting the tire to the Tire Carrier and tailgate.
The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit includes a quick-release 3rd Brake Light Mount and billet aluminum Rearview Camera Mount. The heavily gusseted Tire Mount is formed and welded from CNC laser cut steel for superior strength.

JL: Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount
The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount will secure your full-size spare tire over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain. Although the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount can be used alone it has been designed to be installed in conjunction with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier. The Tire Mount can support the additional weight of a full-size spare tire by securely mounting the tire to the Tire Carrier and tailgate. Complete adjustability includes vertical as well as fore and aft adjustments. The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit includes a quick-release 3rd Brake Light Mount and billet aluminum Rearview Camera Mount. JL: Hi-Lift Jack Tailgate Mount Kit
The heavy-duty JL: Hi-Lift Jack Tailgate Mount Kit provides a safe, quiet, and secure mounting point for a Hi-Lift Jack. The 3/16”-thick laser cut, and powder coated bracket bolts to either our Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier or the factory tailgate for unshakable stability. This bracket also incorporates a built-in CB antenna mount as well as an off-road flag mount for those sand dune trips. Provides clearance for most 37” tires. The RotopaX Hi-Lift Jack Mount Kit (# 4838255 — sold separately) allows you to mount RotopaX containers to the Hi-Lift Jack leg.
JL: CB Antenna & Flag Whip Mount Kit
Easily mount a CB antenna and a flag whip to your JL Wrangler/Unlimited with this bolt-on JL: CB Antenna & Flag Whip Mount Kit. The included Tailgate Accessory Mount Studs mount in place of the factory tailgate studs.
JL: License Plate Relocation Kit
The TeraFlex JL: License Plate Relocation Kit includes the components required to relocate the rear license plate from the bumper to spare tire mount on a JL Wrangler/Unlimited. Fits OEM and most 5-lug aftermarket spare tire mounts including our Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit. An aluminum bracket mounts the license plate light, 3rd brake light, and rearview camera to the plastic License Plate Relocation Mount Bracket.
JL: Alpha Spare Tire Delete Kit
Remove your spare tire while giving the rear of your JL Wrangler/Unlimited a clean appearance with the TeraFlex JL: Alpha Spare Tire Delete Kit. This kit provides a mounting location for the factory 3rd brake light, rearview camera, and license plate light. It also relocates the license plate from the rear bumper to the Alpha Spare Tire Delete Bracket.
JL 4xe: Alpha Speaker Bracket Kit
Use the TeraFlex JL 4xe: Alpha Speaker Bracket Kit to retain the rear speaker in the factory Pedestrian Warning System of your JL Wrangler Unlimited 4xe (4-door plug-in hybrid) with Alpha HD Spare Tire Carrier Mount Kit. The Pedestrian Warning System features an exterior speaker at each end of the JL Wrangler Unlimited 4xe (one in the right front wheel well and one behind the factory spare tire carrier) to warn pedestrians that the plug-in hybrid vehicle is running.
RotopaX Hi-Lift Jack Mount Kit
Do you have a Hi-Lift Jack and a RotopaX container? This simple universal RotopaX Hi-Lift Jack Mount Bracket bolts to the jack leg and will carry one 2-gallon RotopaX fuel container or two 1-gallon fuel containers. Requires proprietary RotopaX pack mount (NOT INCLUDED).
