The Treadman Multi- Angle Stair Tread Cutting System by ProKnee is your answer.
Each stair has its own slightly different angles, and discrepancies due to many common factors, such as materials used, and construction conditions. A professional installer knows this and will never measure once and cut all to the same size. Instead, professionals know to approach each step individually, which is a time-consuming process.
With several stair tread challenges in mind, Proknee has developed a tool specially designed for the stair tread installer.
By securely locking in each step’s & tread’s specific size, Treadman acts as your template and cutting guide for quick, accurate and perfectly cut stair treads every time, thus eliminating the chance for costly mistakes.
Treadman Quick Facts:
- Expands in length from 35 ¼” to 61 ½“
- Additional extension kits available for expanded widths from 22 ½” to 9’ ½”
- Depth adjustment from 10” to 13 ¼”
- Rubber stairtread thickness gauge automatically adjusts from 1⁄32” to ¼”
- 1 Piece Step/Riser Template Kit (sold separately) captures riser heights from 6” to 8”
- Blade friendly self storage box (sold separately) doubles as expanded heavy duty cutting surface

Use Extension Kits 1, 2 or 3 with the Standard Treadman to complete jobs requiring different length stair treads
- Standard Treadman: Adjusts from 35 ¼" to 61 ½"
- Extension Kit 1: Adjusts from 4' 8⅞" to 6' 11" (sold separately)
